Dr David Bonnett is currently Director of Medical Physics at the Kent Oncology Centre. After graduating with a degree in physics from the University of Hull and obtaining an MSc in Radiation Physics he completed a PHD at The MRC Cyclotron Unit at Hammersmith Hospital. The next 15 years were spent with the MRC working on various neutron and proton therapy projects. He moved to Leicester in 1991 and collaborated with Coventry in pioneering the development of internal departmental audit. He has also been involved in establishing three Quality systems. Current research interests include gel dosimetry and Monte Carlo modelling
